Spolier alert - don't read this if you want to be surprised. first off, I was lost in the story from the beginning. Immediately Harry knew where the next horcrux was after spending the whole first half trying to destroy the one they already knew about. The break in at Gringots was true to the book, but very anticlimatic. They got in and out quickly and with little difficualty. The dragon was pretty cool, but again anticlimatic it had a lot of unused potental. Next Harry had a vision which immediately lead him to hogwarts to look for the next horcrux which he finds immediatly. They meet Dumbledoor's brother all of the sudden out of nowhere. There is really no explanation why he is even in the movie. They go to the castle and the war begins. The battle scenes were boring. You couldn't really see what was going on, and even the final showdown between Harry and Voldemort was slow. I was wondering where Hagrid was all through the movie finally showing up at the end as a prisoner, not sure how that happened unless I forgot about it in the first movie.
There weren't enough places to laugh or cheer. There wansn't enough drama, and you were too lost trying to follow the story that the action left you flat.
in conclution this was a sorry ending to an otherwise good series.
